    Pros

    The very first skill is an AoE; there's very fast early levelling

    Qualification

    Currently Unavailable

    All Dancers have been reset to citizens after January 14th, 2008.

    On the European version, Dancers have been re-added

    On the AeriaDOMO version, Dancers were readded on June 9th, 2008 in the Version 6 Patch




    To gain the Dancer qualification you must be at least level 10. Speak with Busker Biff in Placid Plain (accessible from Eversun South) and she will hand you the Dilapidated Dancewear. Take the Dancewear to Granny June the Seamstress in the southwestern farming area (approx. X:169, Y:481), and she will fix it for 1 Wild Hide, 1 Down and 100 Gold. Wait one minute for her to complete the repair, speak to her again to receive the Glamorous Gown, and return to Busker Biff to earn your qualification.
    Down can be obtained by gathering 20 Chicken Feather through the Herding skill and refining them, or often it can be bought in the marketplace off other players.





    Note: this is essentially the same quest as the one for Musician, with the NPCs just a step apart. I suggest you do both in one go to save yourself some running time.

    Dancer Skill List

    Fan Dancing

    All fan dances require a fan.

    Ferocious Fandango: Damages nearby enemies, lowers magic defense by 15% +5 over 10 seconds (1/2 against other players). 11 Mp, Casting Interval 8.

    Flying Swallow Fandango: A fan attack performed in the Flying Swallow Stance. 6 Mp, Casting Interval 60.

    Fatiguing Fan: Draws 10 points of attack power from enemies within an area, increasing own attack speed by 1 for 30 seconds. 2 Mp, Casting Interval 10.

    Fleecing Fan: Draws 5 defense from enemies within range, and increases recovery rate by 5 for 30 seconds. 2 Mp, Casting Interval 10.

    Extractor Fan: Attacks the enemy and reduces their bad feelings toward you. When used against players, it may blow their equipment away. 5 Mp, Casting Interval 30.

    Fancy Ferocious Fandango: Upgraded Ferocious Fandango attack. 25 Mp, Casting Interval 50.

    Flying Eagle Fandango: Single target attack skill that is stronger than the Flying Swallow Fandango. 12 Mp, Casting Interval 120.

    Fang Fandango: Steals enemy HP to heal own HP while attacking. 7 Mp, Casting Interval 30.

    Phantom Fang Fandango: Steals enemy MP to heal own MP while attacking. 11 Mp, Casting Interval 45.

    Sandstorm Salsa: Creates a sandstorm around the dancer, hiding their team mates and reducing enemies' bad feelings toward them. 24 Mp, Casting Interval 40.

    Different Dances

    These don't require fans to use.

    Flaming Foxtrot: A dance, choreographed to resemble the shape of flame, that causes elemental fire damage to nearby enemies. 3 Mp, Casting Interval 10.

    River Rhumba: A dance, choreographed to resemble the shape of a river, that causes elemental water damage to nearby enemies. 3 Mp, Casting Interval 10.

    Soothing Shimmy: Reduces the enemy's attack by 2% and attack speed by 2 for 30 seconds (1/3 against other players). Usable on bosses. 11 Mp, Casting Interval 30.

    Hypnotic Hoedown: Reduces the enemy's accuracy and evasion by 2% for 30 seconds (1/3 against other players). Usable on bosses. 6 Mp, Casting Interval 30.

    Enchanting Cha-Cha: Reduces the enemy's defense and magic defense by 2% for 30 seconds (1/3 against other players). Usable on bosses. 7 Mp, Casting Interval 30.

    Joan's Jive: A dance that calls on the power of the saintly warrior, causing elemental fire damage to a single enemy. 25 Mp, Casting Interval 70.

    Stream Spirit Shuffle: A dance that calls on the power of the river god, causing elemental water damage to a single enemy. 25 Mp, Casting Interval 70.

    Beastial Boogie: Calls upon hidden potential to increase standing HP recovery rate by 50%. 7 Mp, Casting Interval 480.

    Mating Dance: Calls upon hidden potential to increase standing MP recovery rate by 100%. 11 Mp, Casting Interval 480.

    Trance Dance: Reduces the enemy's magical defense, evasion and accuracy by 3% for 50 seconds. Usable on bosses. Stackable. 12 Mp, Casting Interval 110.

    Equip Dancewear:

    Ability to equip dancers' costumes.

    Fan Mastery: Allows fans to be used regardless of job at 5% of their full strength.
